Batesville Justin Shaw (center) was awarded the silver medal in the 120 division at last weekend’s Arkansas State Wrestling Championships.
Batesville’s Hanna Hininger was awarded the bronze medal in the 125 division at last weekend’s Arkansas State Wrestling Championships.
LITTLE ROCK — The Batesville Pioneer Wrestling team had four athletes qualify for the 5A State Wrestling competition: Hanna Hininger, Cynthia Martinez, Justin Shaw, and Troy Stapleton.
Hanna Hininger was selected by the officials today for the 5A Victory with Honor Award and also placed 3rd in the 125 Weight class and was named All-State.
Cynthia Martinez placed 4th in the 190 Weight class and was named All-State.
Justin Shaw, 2nd place, 120 weight class and was named All-State.
Troy Stapleton, 3rd place, 165 weight class and was named All-State.
