State Beta Club Convention
The Batesville High School Charter attended the State Beta Convention in Hot Springs this week. They had 13 students compete in various academic, performance, and service competitions, and of those students, several placed and are bringing home awards. Mimi Ho placed 5th in the 12th grade Science Academic Test. Clara Nikkel placed 5th in the 11th grade Language Arts Academic Test. Kailan Thomas placed 3rd in Division 1 of Recyclable Art. Moriah Beyer, Fia Cole, and Mimi Ho placed 3rd in the Performance Arts: Solo, Duo, Trio Instrumental Division. Emily Price and Penelope Nelms placed 4th in the Service Learning Showcase. Daniel Latus, Clara Nikkel, Dylan Story, and Alexander Tenace made the top eight in Quiz Bowl.
