North Central Arkansas Development Council Inc. has contracted with the Arkansas Department of Environmental Quality for local administration of the 2021 Low-income Home Energy Assistance Winter Program. The Regular Assistance Program began Jan. 11 and will run through April 30 or until funds are depleted, whichever occurs first.

The following requirements are needed before applications can be taken and processed:

Proof of all income for all household members for the previous month.

Copy of both electric and gas/propane bill (if applicable)

Proof of identification

Social Security card for all household members

If your household had zero income for the previous month of application, other documents will be required.

Applications will be taken from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Wednesday.

You must apply in the county in which you reside. Call your county office for more information.
