Melbourne Employees

A celebration of the careers of three Melbourne High School employees was recently held in the high school cafeteria. Those retiring are Melody Carroll, Laura Sipe, and Lanelle Love. Carroll leaves the district with 24 years of service. Sipe has spent her entire career of 27 years with Melbourne School District. Love, who worked in the cafeteria, has been employed since 2015. Jim Carroll, MHS principal, presented the women with custom-made cutting boards engraved with their names and years of service. The women shared their memories and sentiments of Melbourne High as well as their plans for the future, and attendees enjoyed cake and other snacks. “Melbourne High will miss these wonderful ladies and their commitment to our students,” a news release states.
