I smile from inside and sometimes i weep
My emtions are hidden So i don't appear weak
My body although small I'm really quiet strong
From all the trials and errors of Just trying get along
I don't judge people For it's not my place
I don't ask for much but prefer talking face to face
No one is wrong as long as they are real
And a Fake person With them I don't deal
Memories are great Regret frustrates
Predicament can spoon feed your every thought
You have to be wise let It be known
that you can not be bought
A good friend is like a secret
It's something to be kept inside
It doesn't come with lies and doubt
But with truth and pride
If you have one comrade That you know is there
You have more than most For that you can't compare
If you think your life has been a bad curse
Just look around you There is always someone worse
This life here on earth Is what you make it to be
Just remember to never Leap before you look
And a fish has to bite
Before you can get him on your hook

While other girl's may have been helping their mother cook
No doubt i was either hunting, fishing or with my grandpaw getting the need for speed
Back in the day <<---(That's another way of saying "when I was young")
Back in the day my grandpaw was sheriff of a small town for a long time
Back then my granny cooked for the inmates, my grandpaw and I would
take the food to them.. This was sometimes too tempting for some
When that big concrete door opened, there stood one very large man and me
Although my grandpaw was a very large man..
Well i guess they figured if they got out of arms length they could out run him
So they would run and the "CHASE WAS ON" .. when we got tired of chasing him on foot, we got in the old malibu! Me with thorns in my feet from the foot race earlier and my grandmaw putting some thorn's in my grandpaw's ears..As We raced through town looking for the runaway, while my grandmaw steady hollering "GET THAT GIRL HOME" on the radio
I will never forget the feeling i got from going fast.. "A Thrill"
It's like he knew that i was having the time of my life..
My grandpaw made me work very hard to pay for my first car.
I tried to get him to leave the spot light on it :) "My own muscle car"
He said he didn't want me putting anyone's eyes out with the spot light and removed it
I still get a thrill thinking about "Back In The Day"

Did you know that when you envy someone,
it's because you really like that person?
Did you know that those who appear to be very strong in heart, are
real weak and most susceptible?
Did you know that those who spend their time protecting others are the
ones that really need some one to protect them?

The people who say these are actually in need of them or really feel
them, and are the ones you really need to treasure, because they have
said them and so should you!
Did you know that people who occupy themselves by keeping others
company or helping others are the ones that actually need help
But won't take most help offered to them
Did you know that those who dress in red
feel more confident in themselves because of red
Did you know that those who dress in yellow are those that enjoy their
beauty and look at theirself quit often
Did you know that those who dress in black, are those who want to be
unnoticed, like time alone and stay in tune with reality and
their inner-self..They trust Their inner-self
because thats where they get the most help
And yes.. sadly enough thats where they go for understanding
Did you know that those who need more of you
are those that don't mention it to you?
Did you know that it's easier to say what you feel in writing than
saying it to someone in the face?
But did you know that it has more value when you say it to their face?
