Why do gas prices go up faster and go down slower in Batesville?

Your paper has done stories in the past about gas prices but it needs
to be written about again.  I went to Jonesboro on Satuday and gas was
3.79 per gallon while ours was 3.99.  If the locals hear about a price
increase, it can go up twice a day.  When it comes to the price
dropping 15 dollars a barrel in a two day period, they want use up all
the fuel in the pipeline and in the tank before it goes down.  We need
a break on gas prices like all the other communities. Thank You,
