What would we do without each other
It is Febuary 6th 2008
On Febuary 5th there were tonado's just about everywhere in Arkansas..
Still not knowing where some people are and some were found dead.. Homes were lost
I have heard one town was even leveled
Personaly i have felt very helpless wondering what to do to help these people..
I am sure giving blood would help
Offering a roof over someones head
Donating money
Helping clean up to see if there is anything left of
these years of working and purchasing items they needed of maybe something that they even charished
I turned 45 on Febuary 3rd ..I have flash backs sometimes of being a 4th grader at central school in Batesville..
A tornado with no warning came through our school
I remember as we were running for the main building i saw a child flying through the air..
The wind was so thick and so strong i had to grab onto things to hold my feet on the ground
We..My Mother, Father and four of us girls lived right across the street from the school
I can remember wondering if any of it would still be there
Everyone screaming and crying
When i made it to the main building we were told to put our head between our legs and cover our heads
The first person i saw that came to help was my neighbor and right behind him my father which had park in the road and ran the rest of the way because he could'nt get through to help
The people that pulled together to help was unreal
We were very lucky ..we were all alive
These people from Feb. 5th were not so lucky
I know that everyone will pull together and help them
I know this because i remember
