MELBOURNE — Izard County deputies were dispatched last week to a home in Oxford regarding a domestic violence complaint involving a father driving a truck into his son’s house and pulling a knife on the son, Sheriff Tate Lawrence said.
According to the son, John R. Aguiar, his father, John W. Aguiar, was released recently from the Veterans Administration Hospital and they had previously argued regarding a family incident that occurred in Fulton County.
