GOP to sponsor forum

A “meet the candidates” forum will be hosted by the Independence County Republican Women’s Club Thursday at Western Sizzlin in Batesville. The event is open to the public.

Speakers will be Randy Alexander of Fayetteville, Curtis Coleman of Little Rock, Fred Ramey of Searcy and Col. Conrad Reynolds of Conway, who are all candidates for the U.S. Senate in the Republican primary.

The program will begin at noon in the restaurant’s large meeting room. A Dutch-treat luncheon will be available at 11 a.m. or after the program concludes.
