WALNUT RIDGE — Bond was set at $100,000 Friday for a man accused of firing a rifle randomly near houses in Lawrence County, sheriff’s Capt. Jody Dotson said.
Officers arrested Louis Hoggard, 69, of the Baltz Addition near Powhatan for unlawful discharge of a firearm from a vehicle and disorderly conduct.
“The arrest came after Hoggard was driving around the Baltz Edition firing a gun from his vehicle randomly near houses on February 28. Residents of the area called 911 and reported the actions and deputies were dispatched to the area,” Dotson said.
