A Batesville Pioneer qualified on June 28 at Remington Gun Club near Lonoke to compete in the National Junior Olympic Tournament trap competition in Colorado Springs, Colo.
Chuck Woodson, Arkansas Youth Shooting Sports Coordinator for the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission, said the Pioneers’ Hunter Gallant was among the top three scorers, qualifying him for the July 24-26 National Junior Olympic Tournament as well as an all expenses paid attendance at the Junior Olympic Development Shotgun Training Camp set for Aug. 20-23.
