Skid marks in the mud, muddy footprints inside and building material stacked behind a building were among the evidence discovered at the scene of a burglary early Wednesday morning.
Deputy Ernie Gillihan with the Independence County Sheriff’s Office said he was dispatched to Game Central at 3240 E. Harrison St. around 2:30 a.m. regarding a burglar alarm.
Gillihan said he was met by store owner Justin M. Smith, who said he responded to a call from his alarm company also and found the front door had been broken out.
