AHPP will fund historic projects

LITTLE ROCK — A church located in downtown Batesville has received a $18,656 grant for restoration efforts from the Arkansas Historic Preservation Program.

AHPP, an agency of the Department of Arkansas Heritage, awarded $1.3 in grants for projects in 38 counties through its County Courthouse Restoration Subgrant, Historic Preservation Restoration Grant, Certified Local Government Subgrant, Main Street Downtown Revitalization Grant and Main Street “Slipcover” Removal Grant programs.
