A woman who worked as a substitute teacher has been charged with inappropriate sexual activity with children and is being charged with three counts of felony second-degree sexual assault.

Bond has been set at $100,000 for 50-year-old Rose Marie Roberts of Batesville after a complaint was reported on Feb. 20 to Sgt. John Carroll, the school resource officer for the Batesville School District.

According to Sheriff’s Detective Michael Mundy, Roberts is accused of rubbing the groin area of three children in her class.
