GUION — Bonnie Weaver, 97, of Guion died Sunday, Aug. 29, 2010, in a Batesville hospital.
Born April 8, 1913, at Chastain, she was the daughter of Alexander and Lucinda Griffin Arnold. She was a homemaker and a member of Guion Church of Christ.
Survivors include a son, Don Weaver of Guion; three daughters, Marion Sewell of Southaven, Miss., Vivian Waters of Marshall and Cindy Nelson of Southside; 10 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; 25 great-great-grandchildren; and several nephews and nieces.

CUSHMAN — Marcella Ann Hill, 51, of Cushman died Saturday, Aug. 28, 2010, in Searcy.
Born Sept. 21, 1958, she was the daughter of Calvin Eugene Hill and Kathleen Pruitt Hill. She graduated from Batesville High School. She was of the Church of Christ belief.
Survivors include a daughter, Kristi Hill Dodds of Cave City; a brother, Donald E. Hill of Batesville; and three grandchildren, Bret Dodds, Dakota Dodds and Levi Dodds, all of Cave City.
She was preceded in death by her parents.

Frank Leon Carnett, 80, of Batesville died Tuesday, Aug. 31, 2010, in a Batesville nursing home.
Born April 3, 1930, in Batesville, he was the son of Vernon and Cora Barnett Carnett. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a custodian for Batesville Public Schools, serving at Westside Elementary. He was a member of Cave Creek Church of God.

GASSVILLE — Bonnie Theresa Lee Fenner, 76, of Gassville died Sunday, Aug. 29, 2010, in a Mountain Home hospice.
Born Nov. 16, 1933, in Batesville, she was the daughter of Albert and Alma Scott Roberts. She worked as a self-employed beautician. She lived in Kalamazoo, Mich., from 1950 to 1972.

SULPHUR ROCK — Nancie Ruth Hall Gordon-McCann, 58, of Sulphur Rock died Saturday, Aug. 28, 2010.
Born Aug. 25, 1952, in Batesville, she was the daughter of David Lee Hall and Joann Wadkins Hall. She worked in retail customer service.

SULPHUR ROCK — Nell Owena Rodgers, 78, of Sulphur Rock died Monday, Aug. 30, 2010, in a White County hospital.
Born April 10, 1932, in Harold, Texas, she was the daughter of Morton Quisenberry and Ruby Vaughn. She was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include a son, Daniel Rodgers of Sulphur Rock; a daughter, Paula Mayberry of Texas; a brother, David Quisenberry of Texas; a sister, Ellen Geisler of Texas; two grandchildren, Daniel Mayberry and James Mayberry; and five great-grandchildren, Ty Mayberry, Tucker Mayberry, Tate Mayberry, Freya Mayberry and Creed Mayberry.

SMITHVILLE — Robert O. Isabell, 79, of Smithville died Saturday, Aug. 28, 2010, in a Batesville hospital.
Born March 10, 1931, in Lake City, he was the son of Daniel Isabell and Madie Eaves Vail. He was a U.S. Army veteran, having served during the Korean War from 1950 to 1953, receiving the Bronze Star. For a period of time he was stationed in Germany.

RUSSELLVILLE — Fannie Bee Dodd, 85, of Russellville died Aug. 18, 2010, in Russellville.
Born Aug. 19, 1924, in Sidney, she was the daughter of George Washington and Nettie Jane Ford. She was a member of the Baptist Church in Morrilton.
Survivors include a son, George Dodd of Bakersfield, Calif.; a daughter, Dalena Harvell of Russellville; her twin sister, Nancy Lee Mitchell of Batesville; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and several nephews and nieces.

FLORAL — James Herbert Martin, 72, of Floral died Sunday, Aug. 29, 2010, in a Batesville hospital.
Born July 27, 1938, in Independence County, he was the son of James Noel Martin and Eva Angeline Strother. He was of the Church of Christ faith.
Survivors include two sons, Lupee Garcia and Joe Leal; eight daughters, Caroline Santain, Sherry Rosengarn, Lisa Gladin, Shelly Martin, Rosie Hathorn, Janie Rogers, Teela Garcia and Cindy Gaspeny; a brother, Doyle Martin; a sister, Joy Harmon; 22 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and several nephews and nieces.
