Freeda Kimmer Reid, 86, of Batesville died Friday, Feb. 5, 2010. 
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Roller-Crouch Funeral Home Chapel in Batesville with Bobby Shepherd officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Valley Cemetery in Cushman.
Pallbearers will be Sammy Jones, Danny Jones, Mike Brown, Bill Kimmer, Nick Daniel and Bill Pearce.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 tonight.

CAVE CITY — Kathryn Quine Wimberly Smith, 76, of Cave City died Friday, Feb. 5, 2010, in a Cave City nursing home.
Born Feb. 3, 1934, in Baton Rouge, La., she was the daughter of Lester V. and Bernice Palmer Quine. She was a homemaker and a member of Hebron Baptist Church in Denham Springs, La.

Clarene “Neen” Haney, 88, of Batesville died Thursday, Feb. 4, 2010, at her home.
She was born in Cave City and lived in Batesville for many years. She was a senior member of Calvary Baptist Church of Batesville. She was a cook for the Batesville Public School System and after retirement enjoyed baby-sitting in her home. She enjoyed cooking, embroidering, quilting and gardening.

ASH FLAT — Verle Hiatt, 63, of Ash Flat died Wednesday, Feb. 3, 2010, in a Batesville hospital.
Born June 6, 1946, in Truman, Minn., he was the son of Harry Floyd Hiatt and Laverna Britbarth Hiatt. He worked for Alcoa as a thermal technician, retiring after 23 years. He was a volunteer fireman and an emergency medical technician and had worked for Rock Island Railroad and Montgomery Elevator Company. He and his wife were married on April 11, 1970, in Davenport, Iowa.

Jimmie Carol Buie Hix, 64, of Batesville died Wednesday, Feb. 3, 2010, in a Batesville hospital.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Willis Funeral Service Chapel in Batesville with the Rev. Paul Worm officiating. Burial will be in Liberty Cemetery in Charlotte.
Pallbearers will be Josh Gates, Brad Cooper, Chris Swaim, Hunter McCraw, Brad Crabtree and Alex Cheshier.
Honorary pallbearers are Malcolm Hix IV, Conner Suttle, Sgt. Donald Thorne Jr., Mason Gates, James Ellis, Jason Cooper and Donald Thorne III.
Memorials may be made to the charity of choice.

Willie Lee Osborn, 59, of Batesville died Wednesday, Feb. 3, 2010.
Born June 1, 1950, in Pleasant Plains, he was the son of Earl and May Bell Osborn.
Survivors include a son, Billy Lee Osborn of Batesville; two brothers, Tommy Osborn and Chuck Osborn; a sister, Martha May Sprouse; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Charles Osborn.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Bradford Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Pleasant Plains Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday.

UNION HILL — Tammy LeAnn Thompson Brown, 37, of Union Hill died Wednesday, Feb. 3, 2010, at her home.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Velvet Ridge Church of God at Velvet Ridge with Doug Swindle officiating. Burial will be in Brown Cemetery in Thida under the direction of Roller-Crouch Funeral Home of Batesville.
Pallbearers will be Scott Wooldridge, Tri Nguyen, Roger McDaniel, Tim Bruce, Mike Steed and Jim Pollard.

Marilyn Eleanor Nash, 80, of Batesville died Tuesday, Feb. 2, 2010.
Born Feb. 6, 1929, in Milwaukee, she was the daughter of James and Haldina Hasse Edward. She was a homemaker and was of the Lutheran faith.
Survivors include a brother, Franklin Nash; a sister, Joan Pitts; and several nephews and nieces.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Burial will be in Hill Cemetery in Lawrence, Mich. Arrangements are by Willis Funeral Service of Batesville.

CHEROKEE VILLAGE — Joylene Hermann, 78, of Cherokee Village died Saturday, Jan. 30, 2010, in a Jonesboro hospital.
Born Jan. 6, 1932, at Oak Park, Ill., she was the daughter of Martin and Mamie Cammarratta Corso. She was a retired accounting clerk and a member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Cherokee Village.
