LITTLE ROCK (AP) — The House has given final approval to a cut in the tax on bingo cards for charitable organizations.
By a 95-0 vote, the House sent to the governor’s desk legislation that would cut the tax on the bingo cards by 70 percent. The House had earlier backed a full repeal of the tax, but the measure was amended on the Senate side to leave in place three-tenths of a penny for enforcement purposes.
